Services We Offer

Shirley is a Mindbody Practitioner specialising in lifestyle/stress illnesses, M.E. CFS, and Fibromyalgia. She has a particular interest in how these conditions affect people in the workplace and education and how the effects of this can be reduced or eliminated.

Looking at key areas during the consultation process, helps us deliver a package of care tailored to your specific needs. We have found that the following areas need considering to help people recover from lifestyle and chronic fatigue conditions:

Life Purpose - where we work and who we work with

Lifestyle and Pace – How much we ask of ourselves and how much we give to others; how we choose to live our lives

Relationships - who we allow to be close to us

Finances – the profound impact this can have on our mental, emotional and physical health

Environment – where we live, work and play

Movement – how we sit, stand and move around

Nutritional Health – making sure our gut health is balanced and supporting our immune system

Emotional Health – clearing out the old baggage, leaving space for happiness and health

By addressing these areas, it is possible to be free from pain and the limitations that these illnesses place on us.

Why is an extended package of care needed?

Practitioner-hopping’ to try and find solutions is common in chronic conditions. Our approach differs in that we consider all aspects of the mindbody, not just the physical symptoms. We systematically address the real underlying issues that are present in these illnesses. Stress and trauma set in motion a ‘Domino Effect’ of hormonal deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances, and neurophysiological changes that affect energy, digestive and immune systems, sleep, and mood. In addition to this, we must address the response of the mind at the same time.

To address the ‘Domino Effect,’ a consistent approach and focus are needed. Working through a package of care, you will know what to expect and how much it will cost. Our packages offer savings over the standard ‘ad-hoc’ price, so you pay less and get more results.

• Do you offer support between visits?

• Can I access resources 24/7?

• Do you have a network of qualified practitioners to refer to if necessary for a specific treatment that would be beneficial at an appropriate time?

• Do you have a clear map of where I am in the recovery process?

• Do you know which therapies would help me, and which will make me worse?

• Do you have tools to assess and review progress?

• Would I have access to other people who are recovering too?

• Do you have a clear, up-front pricing structure for my recovery plan?

• Do you offer the opportunity to spread the costs of on-going support?

• How much contact would I have with those who have completely recovered?

• Are consultations offered via Skype/Zoom or telephone for those too unwell to travel or who live too far away?

What our customers are saying

"My time with Shirley had been extremely beneficial, to me. Before I started on my journey of using a wellbeing coach, I found myself directionless in my career and unfocused in life.

During each session we established clear objectives and areas of my life we were going to discuss. Over the course of the 45mins I talked the majority of the time and Shirley made notes. She asked insightful questions about my own thought process and how it was impacting on the things I wanted to achieve in my career. Shirley has a wealth of life experience that can be tailored to suit a broad range of people. I felt that my words were being heard and quickly established a trusting relationship. Shirley gave me small manageable tasks after each lesson that helped me refocus on what I wanted and rehash what we had discussed in the lesson.

I am going to continually be using Shirley as my wellbeing coach for guidance in the future. I am very happy to recommend her to anyone who might ask"
